Being 9 miles in length, Schroon Lake may not be as long as the other Adirondack Lakes, but it has just as much to offer. Schroon is also a great area to get outside, explore, and enjoy life. You can go golfing, hit the trails, or wait until the snow falls and try ice fishing. One of the most popular sites on the lake is the Schroon Lake Town Beach at the northern end. You can enjoy a picnic on the lawn or take a splash in the fresh water. Once you dry off you can walk into town and grab a quick bite to eat at any of the local restaurants.
