Ideally located between two large and gorgeous Adirondack lakes, “Ticonderoga” is the Algonquin word for “land between two lakes.” With Lake George bordering “Ti’s” south end and Lake Champlain on its east side, there are ample opportunities to enjoy water sports in Ticonderoga.
Located on Tiroga Beach Lane, Ticonderoga’s Black Point Public Beach is located at the north end of Lake George and offers beautiful views of the lake, picnic areas, and a playground area. Many campsites in Ticonderoga NY are located on lakes and ponds that are some of the cleanest in the word!
If you are visiting Ti, be sure to check out Bicentennial Park in downtown Ticonderoga, where there is fishing access and a kayak and canoe launch at the stunning LaChute Falls.
