Did you know Ticonderoga is a surprisingly convenient launching point to many different cross country ski trails and downhill ski resorts in northern New York and western Vermont?

Cross-Country Ski and Snowshoe Trails
Lake Champlain Region – Choose from Roger’s Rock, Ausable Marsh, Crown Point Historic Site, Ticonderoga Bicentennial Park, and Wildway Overlook. Each area offers a variety of terrains and scenery, perfect for snow-shoeing and cross country skiing. Some trails go through campground and picnic areas, where visitors can have lunch surrounded by the Adirondacks. These trails are within easy reach of Ticonderoga.
North Warren Cross-Country Trails, North Warren region. Miles and miles of trails for all levels of cross-country skiers, including groomed and natural terrain. Check out: Caroline Fish Memorial Trail, Pharaoh Lake Wilderness Area, Gull Pond and Spectacle Trail Ponds, Garnet Hill Cross-Country Ski Center, Cunningham’s Ski Barn, Friend’s Lake Inn Snowshoe Center Cross-Country Trail, and Warren County Nordic Ski System.
