I hold degrees in Public Communications from The College of Saint Rose and in Graphic Design from The Sage College of Albany. I have worked professionally as a newspaper reporter and a graphic designer. Though not exactly perfect fits for me, I certainly learned a great deal that has helped me in becoming an author/illustrator. In order to create Peaches and her friends, I became a self-taught painter.
