Thank You, Happy New Year & Belated Happy Birthday to Ti360!

Here it comesThis has been a busy year – and a great one – for Ticonderoga360!  We have a lot to be thankful for in 2015, and look forward to 2016 to be just as exciting!

Happy Birthday Ticonderoga360!

You may not realize it, but December 16th was our 1-year anniversary of the launch of this website!  We have done some great interviews with local people, shared local and regional businesses, and become a local resource for information, events, and more.

Thank you!

We have earned a healthy following this year…thank you to all of you who have visited the website, or followed and commented on our Facebook Page!  We look forward to continuing to grow our presence as a hyper-local portal serving the Ticonderoga, Hague, Crown Point, Moriah, Putnam region.

One of the coolest things we’ve done this year are some interviews…the “Who’s Who” of the region. We started with  Black Watch Library Director Heather Johns and learned more about our local library.  Ticonderoga Dog Park Volunteer Linda Mackey shared information about the group effort she spearheaded with the dog park, and we got a glimpse into the workings of the Crown Point Fish Hatchery with director Steve LaMere. Local Ticonderoga folk artist Ashley Sofia shared her experiences, musical aspirations and gratitude for so much local support.

Author and historian Fred Provoncha’s views of past, present and future piqued our interest, and eventually led to his guest blogs on Ticonderoga360.com, “Random Scoots”  We are so happy to welcome him, and excited that he will be sharing his personal experiences, knowledge and lore of the region…and whatever else he wants! Fred is also an avid rock collector, and has some unique views and understanding of how the earth in our region has been tied directly to the story of our history.

Happy New Year!

As we approach 2016, we look forward to sharing more about the region….the nearby towns, businesses, and the people that make this particular region of the North Country a special place to live, learn and work.

Thank you again for your interest and support!
